Hello there, or maybe I should say Howdy! I just got back from Montana and it was so inspiring! Amazing mountains, beautiful ranches with amazing barns, silos, old tools, leather, weathered wood and of course cowboys. I opened up the kit and was in love with the stamps but the kit was so red white and blue and the fourth was over, so what I thought would be great would be to do masculine cards inspired by my trip.

I also have been taking creative Chemistry 103 and wanted to try out the distress crayon resist technique, so here we go.
I used the die three ways for these cards, cutting it out of a tag. cutting it out and then trimming it int a free star as in the center card below and then I used the die to make my own stencil out of Graphix Stencil Film.
I used the stencil to apply the distress crayon and then inked on top and gently dabbed away excess to reveal the white picket fence distress crayon star below. It really had a wonderful weathered paint look and I inked and sprayed water to give it all a very blended aged look, then stamped on top with the stamp set in the chipped sapphire ink included in the kit. I also used Broken China for blending with the blues and Gathered Twigs, Frayed Burlap and Ground Espresso for the brown ink blending.
Video is here or on my YouTube channel in HD. Supplies listed below as Usual.
I hope you enjoy this kit and have some fun making some Masculine cards which are way harder for me to make. See you soon, Lee Ann 🙂
