Hello there! Almost February and I got the Simon Says Stamp Heart of Roses Die in “DieCember” and have been making plans for it for weeks, so finally got a minute to make three valentines with it. The die is very detailed so I used a dryersheet between the foil cardstock and the die after I made a few attempts with just cardstock and it really did help the die release all of the tiny pieces much more easily. You can watch the video here or on YouTube to see how the three were made.
Cutting it out of Fun foam was the easiest with Neenah cardstock needing the most “Weeding” or picking all of the little pieces out. I used the next level embossing folder with the hearts and a cuttlebug swiss dot one to add texture to two of the panels and a window to the one here.
I really like two color cards as well so I am really happy with how fancy these are without being cluttered. Here are the other two cards the inlay one is still my favorite but it was a labor of love make sure to watch the video to see how all three were made.
Back next week with more Fun Valentines, these for friends and your special little people. No gifts needed on this Lovey Holiday but a nice card is a joy to make and give. 🙂 Lee Ann
