Hello and Happy New Year!  I am greeting it with 5 quick and easy cards from the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit, Flurries of Thanks.  I had so much fun doing this in December that I thought I would do it again.  When I took a good look at the kit I realized that the patterned papers matched up perfectly with the simon dye inks and I got out the full range, Hot Mama, Audrey Blue, Sea Glass and Blue Violet too.  I also wanted to use the holographic embossing powder that came in the December kit as it was PERFECT for the snowflakes on the sea glass paper.

I usually do not use many stickers but then I noticed that they had reverse images of each so I could make a spinner card with them.  I really though that the snow dogs would be adorable spinning and that is the first card I made.

One of the other things that I always do when I get the kit is to cut out some extra parts out of a piece of the cardstock so I cut the hole for the spinner and the paper overlay at the same time and made a few banner and other overlay pieces that I could use randomly while I was playing with all of the elements.  I really like to get everything out in front of me and then add and subtract as I go.

The next Card I made was this one and again I used the sloping die cut panel and the snowman sticker, stamping the cute sentiment in smoke ink. and adding silver stickles for some final embellishment.

The other three cards are below and I describe in the video a few other steps to making them but they were also simple. I hope you got a little inspiration from these and if you have any questions drop me a line!  Supplies are listed below as well.  Cheers, Lee Ann
