I received this kit and I wanted to show you how to make 5 different designs that are pretty simple. I knew that I needed to make at least 10 cards from it to make a dent in the number I need to send out. Since they really need to go out next week I had to get a move on. I had watched Vicky Papaioannou make 10 cards and she definitely inspired me to use all of the cute papers. Vicky is an expert at using patterned paper and stickers, I have a harder time using the stickers and love to stamp so my cards are very different from hers. Here are the five designs I created and a video to go with. It took me about two hours to go through the creative process but I found that the more cards I made I had more ideas for even more. I made two of each of the 5 designs below.
Voila! 10 cards now only 40 more to go. Here is the video which I sped up to just give you the gist of what I was doing. I hope you are inspired by these and open up your kit and get creative! When I start I use some of my dies to create windows and frames and make some fun additional parts for your cards, I make some cute tags, stitched rectangles or little slopes of white cardstock for a snowy hill, and have them ready to use. I also cut and score all of my cardstock so I have different card bases ready to go, it makes it eally easy to just dive into being creative. I added all of the single cards below the video as well as extra supplies that I used. Hope this was inspiring, have fun!
